Empordà Golf Resort – Forest Course

The Forest Course at Empordà Golf Resort was designed by Fred W. Hawtree and opened in 1992, providing a contrasting experience to the resort's open Links Course. As the name suggests, it weaves through a dense canopy of Catalan pine and cork oak forest, demanding accuracy from the tee and rewarding controlled ball-striking through the tree corridors. With the Pyrenees visible on clear days and the cooler shade of the forest providing welcome relief, the Forest Course offers one of Catalunya's most pleasant and distinctive rounds.
