HOTEL JARDIN TECINA

Located on the quiet island of La Gomera, Hotel Jardin Tecina is built like a local village in the middle of a large garden (70.000 m2 of surface) with sustainable management. The large grounds have over 50 species of plants.

There are five different types of rooms and an Only Adults Area (+16 years old). There is a good choice of bars and restaurants, including excellent value half board buffet service in the Main Restaurant, the Pool BBQ and four A La Carte Restaurants.

Spa Ahemon is a Relax, Wellness and Health Centre (+16 years) in a quiet setting with sea views, including “Open Air Area” and “Wellness area”.

The open air Club Laurel at sea level is accessible by lift and has a sea water pool with a ‘chill out’ area with Balinese beds.

Near the Club Laurel, there is the Eco Finca Tecina, an organic garden development, respecting the principles of permaculture, an agricultural design based on patterns and characteristics of the natural ecosystem.

TECINA GOLF

Located on the hill of Lomada de Tecina, the course overlooks the blue ocean waters. In the words of its designer, leading British architect and writer Donald Steel, it is “the most exciting and challenging project I have ever designed and built. It is unusual because you have to climb up to the first teeing ground, and then it is downhill all the way. The views are amazing”.

The 18 Tecina Golf holes overlooking the sea measure a total of 6,343 metres from the white tees, and it is a par 71 golf course.

Fairways and greens are surrounded by a profusion of native Canary Islands vegetation, such as Canary Island spurge cactus and tabaiba shrubs, and trees bearing such fruits as banana, avocado and mango, each giving off its characteristic aroma.
