Located at the Parador Málaga Golf, The Málaga Golf Course was designed in 1925 by Tom Simpson, one of the 20th century´s most famous golf course architects. His work can be admired at such important courses as Tunberry and Muirfield in Scotland, each the site of the British Open on different ocassions.

The course was inagurated in 1928 by the Spanish Royal Family, and has been host to the most important ournaments on the European circuit calendar, such as the Turespaña Master (won by Vijai Singh), the Turespaña Open of Andalucia (won by Miguel Angel Jiménez) and La Copa Iberia, the prestigious Spanish amateur tournament. In paradisiacal surroundings with gorgeus flora and fauna, the course contains 27 holes, 18 of wich are part of an historic course, 9 holes in a typical links course design at the edge of the sea. Experienced players will find both courses demanding, yet players with a higher handicap will also enjoy them.
