In Almeria, near the capital the fantastic golf course of 18 holes Championship Alboran Golf lies on the new residential and tourist resort of El Toyo, at a few yards from the beach, next to the natural background of Cabo de Gata and immersed in an unique semi-desertic environment. Alboran Golf, whose design has been developed by the prestigious golf architect Ramon Espinosa, was the headquarters of Almería 2005 Mediterranean Games. It is located at 10 km from the capital of Almería along the road N-344 and only at five minutes from the international airport. The highest quality standards have been demanded for the realisation of this golf course, taking into account not only the excellent design by Ramon Espinosa, which housed the Mediterranean Games players as well as the amateur who wants to play the whole year, but also the fulfilment of the golf course execution project in which these demands are specified. Moreover, we have designed the course in accordance to the rules of the American golf association (USGA). It has been developed under an exhaustive quality control and respect to the environment. Alboran Golf has a round of 18 holes Championship par 72 of 6278 metres long, a spacious driving range and different training places which will serve as golf school. The designer has managed to get an important equilibrium between the different holes, in its length as well as in its orientation and situation of the several elements that compound the golf course (bunkers, ponds, etc) in order to enjoy the game in a defiant course which is able to test our ability when playing every hole. The 66 bunkers are strategically located along every hole so that one cannot relax at any moment.
How to find it: - From Murcia, exit motorway A7 to the national 344 (20 km before arrive to Almeria). Approximately 6 Km in third roundabout turn left in "Urbanizacion El Toyo". - From Almería by A7 exit at "El Alquian - Cabo de Gata". First roundabout turn left and then in the next one turn right to "Urbanizacion El Toyo".
