Lisbon Sports Club

With roots stretching back to the Lisbon Cricket Club of 1873, the Lisbon Sports Club carries more than a century of tradition onto its fairways. Established formally in 1922 and relocated to its current home in Belas, the club now hosts a championship par-72 course crafted by William 'Rocky' Roquemore — a design of quiet elegance set just ten minutes from Lisbon and equally close to Sintra, the UNESCO World Heritage town whose forested hills form a dramatic natural horizon. The Lisbon Golf Cup, one of Portugal's oldest tournaments, is still contested here, lending the club a pedigree that few courses in the country can match.
