The Club at Viniterra

Frequently ranked among Virginia’s top golf experiences, Viniterra was voted #1 in Virginia in 2025 and has been in the top 10 for Top Courses You Can Play in the state for many years. Designed by renowned architect Rees Jones, The Club at Viniterra is a championship 18-hole golf course that showcases the best of Virginia’s natural terrain. Set on over 1,200 acres of rolling hills, wetlands, and woodlands in New Kent, the layout incorporates elevation changes of up to 70 feet, strategic bunkering, and contoured greens that challenge every level of player. The design emphasizes both playability and strategy, creating a course that stretches from 5,200 to over 7,700 yards. The course weaves seamlessly through a growing community with many holes fully tree-lined giving the golfer a "all-on-your-own" feel.  Practice facilities are some of the biggest in the area for public golf, with an all-grass driving range plus putting and chipping greens.

The clubhouse is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week with multiple TVs and a back deck overlooking the driving range and 18th hole for a relaxing 19th hole experience.  The Vini Tavern hosts weekly happy hours and social events throughout the year that all are welcome to attend.

Accessible from both Richmond and Williamsburg, The Club at Viniterra is on the way to everywhere and just a mile off of I-64.  The club has become a go-to option for travelers on the way to VA Beach and those travelling to North Carolina due to the easy access via many routes.

Open 365 days of the year, the club books all travel business through the General Manager, Charlie Burch, who has been with the club for almost a decade.
