About Nemacolin – Shepherd's Rock
Shepherd's Rock is Pete Dye's final solo design, completed in 2017 at Nemacolin in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. Carved from the rugged hillside terrain, the course offers dramatic elevation changes of nearly 300 feet, sweeping views across the Appalachian valleys, and the bold, uncompromising design philosophy that defined Dye's legendary career. The course was opened as a fitting capstone to one of golf architecture's most celebrated bodies of work.
