Pinehurst Resort – No. 9 Course

Pinehurst No. 9 is a Jack Nicklaus design opened in 2002, the most recent addition to the resort's nine-course collection. Routing through the natural longleaf pine forests and wire grass of the Sandhills, the course embraces the native Carolina landscape that Donald Ross originally envisioned for the Pinehurst property. No. 9 offers a modern interpretation of the Pinehurst tradition, with strategic design challenges, crowned greens, and the immersive native vegetation that has been central to the resort's recent ecological restoration efforts.
