About Kapalua – Plantation Course
The Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort is the home of the PGA Tour's Sentry Tournament of Champions, held each January as the season opener. Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw and opened in 1991, the course occupies spectacular elevated terrain on the northwestern tip of Maui with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and neighboring islands. Par 73 and stretching over 7,500 yards from the back tees, it is one of the longest and most dramatic resort layouts in Hawaii.
