Designed by Alister MacKenzie and Bobby Jones and opened in 1933, the course is renowned for its immaculate conditioning, legendary holes, and the flowering beauty of the Georgia springtime. Amen Corner — holes 11, 12, and 13 — is the most celebrated stretch in golf, and the 12th hole (Golden Bell) is considered the greatest par-3 in the world. Membership to Augusta National is by invitation only.
