Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge

Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge has been making history since 1961. Renown as having been the winter home of golf legend Arnold Palmer, Bay Hill is a “must stay” destination for golf enthusiasts around the globe. Originally designed by Dick Wilson, redesigned by Palmer himself and fantastically maintained by the on-site architects at Arnold Palmer Design Company, the course is a fair test for pros and amateurs alike. It is sited on a property that sweeps across 270 acres along the shores of the Butler Chain of Lakes, and annually hosts the best golfers in the world at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard.

The rich history of this iconic destination is evident everywhere; the walls of the Clubhouse and Lodge rooms are adorned with Palmer family photos and memorabilia from Arnie’s legendary career, and the furnishings include pieces regularly used by Palmer and by some of the best golfers in the world. As a golf destination its credentials are unquestioned, but it’s the warmth, welcoming environment, and personal service that make Bay Hill a special destination beloved by pros and amateurs alike. Golf Course Renovated Summer 2018

A 2018 renovation of the golf course included the installation of a state-of-the-art Rain Bird irrigation system; total renovation of the driving range and the installation of multiple new targets and palm trees; and, mostly notably, the design and installation of a new, world class, two-acre Short Game Practice Facility that gives golfers the ability to hit any shot inside 100 yards.
