Newport, Wales
About Celtic Manor – Twenty Ten Course
The Twenty Ten Course at Celtic Manor Resort was purpose-built for the 2010 Ryder Cup, one of the most dramatic editions of golf's greatest team event. Designed by Ross McMurray on the banks of the River Usk in Newport, Wales, the course features strong finishing holes with significant water hazards and amphitheater-style gallery areas that created an electric atmosphere during Europe's famous victory. The course takes its name from the year of the Ryder Cup and is the only course in history designed and built specifically to host the event.
