Turnberry – Ailsa Course

The Ailsa Course at Turnberry is one of golf's most spectacular settings, a world-class links layout that sweeps along the Ayrshire coast with views of Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran, and the Mull of Kintyre. Host to four Open Championships, the course is revered for its historic 9th hole played alongside the famous lighthouse perched on the rocky headland. Originally designed by Willie Fernie and extensively restored by Martin Ebert for 2016, the Ailsa is considered one of the greatest links courses on earth.
