About St Andrews Links – New Course
The New Course at St Andrews Links is the second oldest of the six public courses in the birthplace of golf, designed by Tom Morris Sr. and opened in 1895. Running parallel to the famous Old Course, the New Course shares much of the same spectacular links landscape along the Eden Estuary. Though overshadowed by its legendary neighbor, the New Course offers a genuine links challenge with undulating fairways, pot bunkers, and unpredictable coastal winds that make every round a test of true golf.
