Muirfield Golf Links

Muirfield is one of the most revered and challenging links courses in the world, the home of The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers — the oldest golf club in the world. Designed by Old Tom Morris and opened in its current form in 1891, Muirfield has hosted the Open Championship 16 times, welcoming champions including Jack Nicklaus, Lee Trevino, Nick Faldo, and Phil Mickelson. The course is celebrated for its clockwise outer loop and counter-clockwise inner loop, ensuring golfers face the wind from every direction and must conquer every type of links shot.
