Dundonald Links

Located at the very heart of Ayrshire’s golf coast lies Dundonald Links; a modern links golf masterpiece designed by Kyle Phillips. Dundonald Links was proud to host one of the European Tour’s flagship events; The Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open in 2017. Alongside the men’s competition the Aberdeen Asset Management Ladies Scottish Open was also held at Dundonald Links in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

More recently the Women's Scottish Open was held in 2022, 2023, 2024 and again this year. Dundonald Links is also a Final Qualifying Venue for the Open Championship and has been since 2023

In 2021 Dundonald Links embarked on a £25 million development plan with a goal to provide one of the best venues to stay and play golf in Scotland. As well as significant improvements to the golf course with designer Kyle Phillips, a new clubhouse and luxury accommodation was completed, finally giving Dundonald Links the facilities it truly deserves.

LOCATION The course is located at the very heart of Ayrshire’s golf coast near Open venues Royal Troon, Prestwick and Turnberry, just 10 minutes from Prestwick Airport, 30 minutes from Glasgow Airport and 90 minutes from Edinburgh Airport.

DIRECTIONS From Glasgow, take the M77 south towards Kilmarnock/Ayr. At the Dutchhouse Roundabout, follow signs for the A78 Irvine. Head north on the A78 towards Irvine for 5 miles and at the next roundabout take the second exit on the left. The entrance to Dundonald Links is half a mile along on the left hand side.
