Bushfoot Golf Club

Bushfoot Golf Club sits on the North Antrim Coast of Northern Ireland. Just 3 miles along the coast road from The Open venue, Royal Portrush Golf Club and less than a mile from the iconic Giants Causeway.

Golf has been played here since the 19th Century with the club being formed in 1890 and going from strength to strength. It has a stunning setting with the 1st / 10th hole overlooking the golden sands of Runkerry Bay but don't be fooled by the view as the hole itself is a challenge @ over 400yds with a fairway that cambers right to left, the River Bush on the left side and a small plateau green set into a large sand dune. Start with a four and you won't be unhappy. The next 4 holes have the river, from which the world famous Old Bushmills Whiskey distillery gets it's water, on the left side before the course turns at the 6th tee towards the welcoming clubhouse. From the back tees the 8th hole is a miniature "Road Hole" requiring a shot over the greenkeepers sheds to a hidden green.
