Laguna Golf Phuket is an 18 hole golf course, set within the world renowned Laguna Phuket Resort. As Asia’s first fully integrated resort development, Laguna Phuket is a holiday paradise of deluxe hotels and villas spanning 1,000 acres of tropical parkland along an eight kilometer stretch of pristine beach at Bang Tao Bay on Phuket's West coast, in Thailand. Golf course architect, Paul Jansen of Jansen Golf Design, was commissioned to re-design the 18 hole layout – not only upgrading drainage and irrigation systems, but also making the golf course a more strategic and memorable design. Golfers are required to plan their way around the golf course, with new undulating fairways and run-off areas to make golfers focus on shot selection and variety. The front nine holes meander around the beautiful Laguna Phuket water bodies, complete with natural rock formations, plus water grasses and plants. The back nine features some testing holes, with tree lined fairways and mountain views providing a stunning frame to the golf course. Club facilities include; The clubhouse includes the famous Banyan Café restaurant and bar, tasty food selection and prefect views over the golf course. All only a few steps away is the world-renowned Banyan Tree Phuket hotel and their award winning Banyan Tree Spa.
