About Fancourt – The Links Course
The Links Course at Fancourt is Gary Player's extraordinary attempt to create a true Scottish-style links experience in the heart of the South African Garden Route. Opened in 2000, the course features undulating fairways, pot bunkers, swales and ridges that mimic the natural terrain of the great Scottish links courses. Host to the Presidents Cup in 2003 — where the USA and International Team tied for the first time in the event's history — the Links Course is considered the finest and most challenging of Fancourt's three layouts.
