Mangawhai Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course that is consistently ranked in New Zealand’s top 20.  Sand-based, the course is always playable and offers challenge and reward for golfers of every ability.  Well-groomed fairways and immaculate greens are the course’s hallmark, with the greens regarded as exceptionally quick and true.  The course is set amongst native flora and follows the natural, gentle undulations of what is described as perfect golfing terrain.

So step out of the Auckland mud and slush and take the easy, just-over-an-hour drive to Mangawhai. Only 1 Hour North of Auckland With Auckland’s CBD little more than an hour away, Mangawhai is always popular with visitors.   Full facilities – clubhouse, bar, cafe and golf shop – provide the perfect environment for an unbeatable day of golf.   Bookings for tee times and cart hire are always advisable. From Auckland’s Harbour Bridge, follow SH1 to Warkworth, continue north through the Dome Valley then, as you exit the Dome, take the right turn into Wayby Valley Road.   Follow the sealed, signposted road to Mangawhai Village then through to Mangawhai Heads.  The golf course is on your left just beyond the Museum and Mangawhai Activity Zone.
