Golf della Montecchia, one of the few 27-hole courses in the North-East of Italy, is nestled within the charming estate which surrounds the old castle of the Emo Capodilista noble family, just a few kilometres from the art city of Padua URBS PICTA

The course, featuring a modern pattern, was designed by the English architect Tom Macauley and covers an area of 820,000 sq.m.. It offers to both expert and novice players a varied, technique-intensive game also thanks to the numerous and challenging water traps: hole 7 (par 3, 165 metres), in particular, faces an expanse of water that surrounds the hole and virtually the entire green. The course has already hosted various edition of the Challenge Tour and the Alps Tour. Thanks to its innovative draining system, it is accessible throughout the entire year and under all weather conditions. Golf della Montecchia also stands out for its environmental commitment: the change of the turf to Bermudagrass has resulted in a drastic reduction in water supply, while the effort to gradually ban pesticides and fertilizers in the course maintenance, carried out with the support of prestigious universities, has been acknowledged by the GEO certification, and the “Committed to Green” award. In January 2024 at the BIGGA Conference Show in Harrogate (UK), Golf della Montecchia, selected from over 60 golf clubs around the world, received the prestigious "International Environmental Golf Club of the Year 2024" award.
