Golf Garlenda

Garlenda Golf Club is located in the valley of river Lerrone, one of the most picturesque valleys of the inland of Liguria and it's surrounded by ancient olive yards and pinewoods.

From the highest "hole" you will enjoy a marvellous view of the seaside and the Marittim Alps.

Garlenda is the ideal place for a pleasant stay, it offers a Golf Club and other entertainment, it is close to Alassio, which is surely an attraction for the tourists and to Albenga which is an historical-artistical site.

Garlenda if you leave from one of the major northern towns or form Genova's international airport, Golf Club Garlenda is only ten minutes away from the motorway's toll-gate.

You can also easily reach the " Costa Azzurra".

The 18 holes golf course, which was opened in 1965, has been designed by architects Morrison and Harris who wonderfully blended in the local landscape whitout altering the environmental characteristics.

The course covers 6085 mt, it is par 72 and from the championship's tee, it gives the most skillfull players a hard test and it offers a pleasant challenge for the normal tees players.

Throughout the years the Club House has kept nicely and it has been recently enlarged; it has a game's room, a snooker room, a nice guest  house and a pleasant restaurant where you will enjoy the traditional dishes prepared whith fresh seafood and the agricultural products from " Piana di Albenga", in the summer you can enjoy a nice outdoor swimming-pool.

There are two horse racing center in the neighborhood from where you can enjoy beautiful rides, going up the valley through the untouched woods and arrive to pretty villages surrounded by olive yards.
