Carton House – O'Meara Course

Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel is home to two magnificent golf courses, The O’Meara, a stunning parkland spread and The Montgomerie, a unique “inland links” style creation.

The transformation of the estate into a first class golf resort began in 1999. In 2002, the first phase of the development saw the opening of the Mark O’Meara course. This gorgeous parkland spread makes splendid use of the historic demesne’s rolling hills, specimen trees and the River Rye. Feature holes include the 13th, 14th and 15th – a pair of 3’s wrapped around a heroic par 5 – crossing the lazy loops of the River Rye.
