Ballybunion Golf Club – Cashen Course

The Cashen Course at Ballybunion Golf Club was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1982 as a companion to the world-famous Old Course. Set on even more dramatic dunesland than the Old Course, with towering ridges and deep hollows shaped by the Atlantic, the Cashen offers an extreme and uncompromising links experience that divides opinion — some consider it among Ireland's most thrilling courses while others find it bewildering. Its raw, natural landscape is unlike anything else in Irish golf.
