The North West Golf Club was founded in 1891 in Derry's Guildhall. Sixteen local businessmen got together and commissioned Mr. Charles Thompson the Royal Portrush Professional, to design the classic links course we have today.
The North West Golf Club is one of Ireland's oldest courses and one of the nine Founder Member Clubs of the Golfing Union Of Ireland.
