Bali's only mountain golf resort, Handara Golf & Resort occupies one of the most remarkable natural settings in the world: the crater of an ancient volcano, nearly 1,400 metres above sea level, in the island's lush central highlands. Surrounded by crater lakes, equatorial rainforests and a panorama of verdant peaks, the course was designed by five-time British Open Champion Peter Thomson in collaboration with Michael Wolveridge and Ronald Fream — a pedigree that informs every exhilarating hole.
