Handara Golf & Resort is a unique destination in the heart of Bali’s central highlands, nestled within the crater of an extinct volcano at nearly 1,400 meters (4,600 feet) above sea level. Surrounded by lush green mountains, crater lakes, and equatorial rainforests, it is Bali’s only mountain golf resort.

Designed by five-time British Open Champion Peter Thomson, in collaboration with Michael Wolveridge and Ronald Fream, our golf course offers an exceptional playing experience for all skill levels.

Our iconic Handara Gate serves as the stunning entrance to our resort, attracting visitors from around the world. At Handara, we personalize every aspect of the guest experience—from golf to accommodations, dining, and activities—ensuring a bespoke and memorable stay.

Beyond the golf course, we offer 45 boutique resort rooms, two restaurants, a spa with a Japanese onsen, and two meeting rooms with a seating capacity for 100 round-table guests. Coming soon, we will introduce four luxury villas with three bedrooms each, as well as a four-star hotel.
