Designed by Robert Von Hagge in the late 1980s, the Courson Stade Français course bears all the hallmarks of this architect's distinctive approach — fairways sculpted and isolated from one another, creating a three-dimensional landscape of dramatic visual impact. Initially classified as a links for its bold, sculpted character, the course has since matured beautifully as native vegetation has established itself throughout the layout, softening and enriching the original design in equal measure.
