Greensgate Golf & Leisure Resort

LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR - OFFICIAL VENUE 2013 - 2016!

Since 2017 with name Greensgate Golf & Leisure Resort, before named (2004 - 2016) Golf Park Plzen, is a beautiful golf resort which was built in 2003 and 2004 in cooperation with the renowned German company Sommerfeld A.G. and golf architect Christopher Staedler on the outskirts of Pilsen in Western Bohemia. The fully irrigated 18-hole course (par 72) which presents a tempting challenge to golfers of all skill levels was first opened to the golfing public on the 21st of August, 2004. The hilly course is set amongst numerous birch and alder groves embraced by the Klabava river and the beautiful Ejpovice lake. It differs from other Czech courses even by its design - the arrangement of 18 holes in a row resembles the world´s oldest course in St. Andrews. The most spectacular hole in Greensgate is Hole No. 11 - a short par 3 with an island green in the Ejpovice lake - awarded by the golfers as the Best Hole of the Czech Rep.  During winter season 2016 were made many changes in Greensgate.

Magnificent golfing facilities of Greensgate Golf & Leisure Resort include a historic clubhouse with a wine cellar, a modern Golf Park Restaurant with a summer terrace, large practice grounds, reception, golf shop, lockers with showers and toilets, accommodation in 16 twin rooms and 6 luxury apartments, congress hall for 30 persons, caddie room and huge parking space.

It is a big asset of Greensgate Golf & Leisure Resort that it is easily accessible not only from Pilsen but also from the D5 highway Prague - Pilsen - Germany.
