CASTLE HOTEL: The Hotel is situated in the actual Golf Resort Konopiste facility. It offers pleasant stylish accommodation throughout the year, a 35-minute-drive from Prague. The international airport of Ruzyne is some 45 minutes away from there. There are 135 comfort double rooms and 3 suites equipped with stylish furniture. Bathrooms are lined with noble natural stone. The rooms are aquipped with TV + SAT, telephone set, minibar and safe.

GOLF: Golf Konopiste a.s. operates now with two 18-hole master courses. These are the Radecký Course (par of 72 and a length of 6.484m from "black") bearing the name of one of the former land owners, famous marshal of Napoleonic Wars Václav Radecký of Radec and the D’Este Course (par of 72 and a length of 6.086m from "white") named after Archduke Ferdinand d’Este, successor to the Austrian Throne who spent much of his time by hunting in these area .

The courses are advantageously situated in a landscape with slight slopes, which is surrounded by the forest and includes various bunkers and numerous water barriers. A characteristic feature is represented especially by the great, modelled greens which can be compared with those of the best all over the world.

The 9-hole Public Course is available also to players without a Green Card. The large Driving Range and short game areas are a suitable place for training. In winter it is possible to use the indoor golf facility.

SPA & WELLNESS: From the beginning of 2013, Golf Resort Konopiště will offer services of the large Spa & Wellness centre which is located right in the resort facility. The total area is 2,000 m2. It is possible to use there indoor and outdoor swimming pools, whirlpool, salt bath, Kneipp path, steam, sauna or sunsky. In the part called “spa & balneo” it is possible to take various curing or relaxing procedures, such as massages, packs, inhalations or baths. There is also a training room and a fitness hall available for groups.

Brief History of the Castle and of the Community in Tvorsovice The Castle in Tvorsovice had a predecessor in the medieval feudal residence - fortified settlement. This fortified settlement was allegedly built in the premises of the later farming yard. The first records of the Community in Tvorsovice (originally Tvoresovice) date back to the year 1380 when one of the local country gentlemen (Jesek of Tvoresovice) is known. There is still one mention about Tvorsovice from the year 1411 before the Hussite Wars. Approximately from the year 1674, Tvorsovice formed again a separate estate which was owned by the Radecký family of Radec, which was the family of famous Austrian marshal Jan Josef Václav Radecký of Radec. In this building form the castle was known until the 1890s. From 1868 it belonged to the well- known Schebek family known in the world of business. Petr Jan Schebek owned an iron foundry company. Johann Schebek rebuilt the castle into a spectacular neo- renaissance villa in the year 1890. The farm building and the former sheep- fold remained the longest in the baroque to classicist styles.

Both the buildings were rebuilt in the second half of the 19th century - when the newly constructed building arose for business purposes on the north-east side. The core of the present extensive country park was only created in the 2nd half of the 19th century-under the Schebek ownership. A part of the park is formed by a country cottage, cave, statues. Sheep- fold - the baroque core from the 19th century. Statues, Poseidon fountain, the 1880., man in a vestment, lawyer Schebek, eastern corner of the yard, St. Florian, Roman soldier before the north- east front of the castle, St. Jan Nepomucenus, the north-east corner of the castle, Antonio of Padua with a Child, under the sheep- fold, St. Anna with Virgin Mary, At the end under the sheep- fold.

The last private owner of the castle was Cyril Barton of Dobením who inherited it in the year 1947. The castle was nationalised in the year 1948. Until the 1970s, the castle with the farming yard persisted in its older form. After a change in the political situation in the year 1989, the castle was repaired in 1996, the repair was financed by its original owner JUDr. Cyril Barton of Dobenín. In the year 1998, the ownership passed to the daughter of the original owner, Mrs. Eva Curry- Bartonová.¨ With the kind permission and with the help of Mrs. Eva Curry- Bartonová, the castle was renovated into the Hotel in the year 2003.

The Castle Hotel was inaugurated on May 1. 2003. From this moment the Hotel and its pleasant rooms are fully available for the moments of your comfort.
